Stories and highlights
There's always something to celebrate at our school! From exciting events to proud moments and everyday wins, here are some of our highlights.
A year at our school
Gardening can be a great hands-on learning experience for students, helping them connect with nature, learn about plant science, and develop responsibility.
Collaborating with small schools helps create a supportive network for students and families, making transitions between schools much easier and less stressful.
Hands-on learning is a highly effective educational approach where students actively engage in practical activities to understand concepts better. It promotes deeper understanding, critical thinking, and retention of knowledge. Examples include experiments, gardening, building projects, role-playing, and field trips.
"We love our school for its school community focuses on ensuring everyone is known, valued, and cared for. Creating a positive and inclusive environment which supports student well-being and learning."— a parent of Glen Innes West Infants School
