Our principal and staff
Our school team is committed to every student’s learning, wellbeing and sense of belonging. We work together to create a supportive and inclusive school where every child is set up for success.
Welcome from our principal
"At Glen Innes West Infants School, we believe that the early years of schooling lay the foundations for lifelong learning and success. Our Kindergarten to Year 2 specialists are dedicated to building strong foundations that nurture curiosity, creativity, and confidence in every child.
By focusing on the essential skills of literacy, numeracy, social-emotional development, and play-based learning, our team creates an engaging and supportive environment where each young learner can thrive. We understand the unique developmental needs of early learners and strive to tailor our teaching approaches to inspire a love of learning that will carry them forward.
Together, with the support of families and the wider community, we are committed to creating brighter futures for all students."
Mrs Nicole McKean, Principal of Glen Innes West Infants School
